What's the cost of delivery?

Orders which have a cart value of over R799 will get free courier door-to-door delivery anywhere in South Africa.

Orders with a cart value below R799 will have a delivery fee of just R99 for door-to-door courier delivery anywhere in SA.

How long will delivery take?

Orders confirmed before 1pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day. Once an order is dispatched the delivery timeframe depends on your location.

Main cities of SA will be 1 - 3 working days.

Non-main cities: 2 - 5 working days.

Rural/ outlying regions: 3 - 7 working days.

Tracking information will be sent to your email so that you can see the updates and estimated delivery times.

Do you accept returns?

Absolutely! If you're not happy with your goods then please let us know within 30 days of receiving your order and we can arrange to return the order to us for a full refund.

What secure payment options to you offer?

Our website is SSL secured and we only partner with South Africa's leading payment gateway partners.

You will have the option to make secure payment via credit card, debit card, instant EFT, QR Code payments or By-Now-Pay-Later.

Direct EFT is also an option if you prefer and these orders will be dispatched once the funds clear into our bank account.

Things to Consider About Gift Cards

1. Store or Brand Restrictions

Our gift cards can only be used at in our online mall. If you’re not sure what the recipient likes, rest assured, they can be used at the checkout for any item/s - offering more flexibility.

2. Expiry Dates and Fees

Our cards will expire after 6 months if left unused. To get the full value, it’s best for recipients to use them sooner rather than later. We will be in touch to let you know the card is nearing its expiration date.

3. Leftover Balances

It’s common to end up with small amounts left on a card after shopping. While these can still be used, people sometimes forget about them.

4. Not as Personal

While gift card may not feel as personal as a hand-picked gift, you can always add a thoughtful card, note, or small token to make it more meaningful.

2.      Tell us a bit about you: -

a.       Your name

b.      The name you market your products under

c.       Where you are based

d.      What you make / What would products you want to put online

                                                              i.      Send some pictures if you are emailing or WhatsApp’ing

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW :

3.      What we are offering : -

a.       A Shop Front with a store specific color scheme (Pastel Predetermined Scheme)

b.      An Email Address : Example - yourstore@homebizmall.co.za

c.       Store Maintenance – real time

d.      Assistance every step of the way

e.       Specific Training on Aspects will be charged separately

 

4.      Our Fees have 3 Parts : -

a.       Monthly Listing Fee – R15-00 per item + R10-00 per Variant, Capped at R299-00. Example: Dress in White + Blue+ Yellow = R15 + R10 + R10 (R35pm)

b.      3% of Sales deducted by the Payment Gateway on the site (This is the same as a card machine and deducted immediately from the sale)

c.       7% of Sales as Commission (Full Transparency, Commission will be invoiced)

d.      NOTE : -

                                                              i.      Delivery Fees paid by the customer will go to whoever arranges the courier

                                                            ii.      Currently listed items Bundled together are FREE

                                                          iii.      Currently listing items in Pop Up Stores are FREE (If they are listed in your store) If you only want to list in the Pop Up Stores, the standard fees will apply.

 

5.      If you products meet the requirements (Not Factory Made) and are accepted, then you would need to : -

a.       Complete the Stock sheet with dimensions, weight, full description (Assistance / Requirements are provided on the form)

b.      Sign the General Terms and Conditions Intent Document

                                                              i.      This Outlines the spirit of the relationship and has limited legal enforcement capabilities)

c.       Pay the required Rental Fees in advance for the current or next month.

                                                              i.      Pro Rata will be considered after the 17th of the month

d.      Provide pictures of each product and variant (Details on the form but they do not need to be professionally done)

 

6.      From a Logistics point of view, you would need to : -

a.       Open a courier account and purchase shipping materials

b.      Have some stock to fulfill orders

c.       Commit to making more stock to meet the dispatching deadline of 48 hours

d.      Communicate with your customer for best customer service

e.       Pack and send the items off on time

 

7.      In terms of Marketing : -

a.       Home Biz Mall will have a Marketing Campaign active on several social platforms, promoting all listed items as a feature from time to time

b.      You would be expected to Market the HomeBizMall by sharing social media posts on your groups and friend network

c.       You are free to Market your store in any way you deem necessary (Including paid ads)

d.      Keep the mall updated with physical markets you plan to attend

                                                              i.      This will enable other participating tenants to also attend, collaborate or support the events

                                                            ii.      Agree to display a sign of the mall at your stall

e.       Email manager@homebizmall.co.za when things are Out of Stock

 

LEGAL JARGON:

1.      HomeBizMall accepts no liability whatsoever in any shape or form whether blatant or consequential during the normal course of business.

2.      You agree to comply to the POPI Act as it applies to this collaboration and in no circumstance will customer information be given to any 3rd Party.

3.      The customer data base collected over time will be the intellectual property of  HomeBizMall and the use thereof is entirely at it’s own discretion

4.      Fees payable are in respect of sales related directly from the platform and does not extend to your entire business. In person sales, family sales, etc are exempt.
